How far is Cedars from the lake?

We are 10 minutes from Shuswap Lake and Mara Lake, or a 5 minute walk to the river and a great white sand beach that’s away from the crowds.

How big are the lots?

Our well-treed lots average 40’ x 80′ or larger. Because we are built into the forest, the lot sizes and shapes are irregular so many are very unique. Some lots back onto the old growth forest of Yard Creek Provincial Park.

Is this a bareland condo with fees?

Yes! When you purchase a lot at Cedars, you are actually purchasing one share in the resort with your lot attached to that share. It is like buying a condo since you would own a share of the entire resort and you have the right to run to be on the board and attend HOA meetings.

The lot/share is yours forever so you can pass it on to your family, sell your lot, whatever you wish. Our strata fees are very low at $107.26 per month. They include almost everything such as power, water, sewer, Wi-Fi, taxes, garbage and snow removal as well as resort maintenance and management.

Can you build on your lot?

We’d love it if you personalize your home away from home! All structures need to be approved by management before they can go up. You can build a large deck and shed. We would like it to blend in with the surrounding nature.

Can you use the lots year-round?

Yes, the roads are plowed throughout the winter so you can use your lot during all four seasons.

What's the difference between a 3-season and a 4-season lot?

In the 3-season lots we turn off the water and sewer during the winter because the services in that section of the resort are installed shallow and would freeze. In the 4 season lots the water and sewer are buried below the frost line and remain on year round.

Do you rent out sites on behalf of owners when they’re not being used?

Yes! We have a rental pool that can turn your lot into an income property! As part of the rental pool, we’ll rent your lot out at $45 per night and split it 50/50 with you. It’s a great way to earn extra income for the times you’re not using your lot or if you own more than one lot.

Are you waterfront?

We’re a short 5 minute walk through the old growth forest to the Eagle River and a secluded white sand beach where you can swim, tube, kayak, fish or just hang out in the sun. We’re also only a 10 minute drive from Shuswap and Mara lakes!

What can I park on my lot?

We welcome all types of RVs, Destination Trailers, Park Models, Tiny Homes and Fifth Wheels.

Do you have to pay for the lot upfront?

At Cedars, we will accept a down payment of $2,000 with the condition that the remaining balance of the lot is paid in full within 7 days. This grace period helps our owners arrange for full financing with their bank of choice if that is the route they’d like to go.
